The Meridian R80 is a full-size 80mm thermal receipt printer built for high-volume checkout. It prints 300mm per second, auto-cuts every receipt, and connects over USB, Ethernet, and Bluetooth simultaneously, so the counter terminal and a tablet can share one printer. Can the Meridian R80 open a cash drawer?
Yes. It has the standard RJ11 cash-drawer port, so any drawer with an RJ11/RJ12 kick cable (including Northline drawers) opens automatically when a receipt prints.
Can two devices print to the R80 at the same time?
Yes. All three interfaces are active simultaneously, so a wired register and a wireless tablet can share the printer without switching cables or settings.
