Do I need an FCC license for business two-way radios?
Not for Northline radios. They use license-free frequency bands, so you can deploy them the day they arrive. Licensed bands offer more power and range, but for buildings and lots under a few acres, license-free systems are simpler and legally worry-free.
What range do wireless headsets and radios actually get?
Indoors, expect reliable coverage across roughly 40,000 square feet for our headset systems and several floors for radios, depending on construction. Concrete and steel reduce range. Tell us your floor plan and we will confirm coverage before you buy.
Can guest pagers and staff headsets work together?
They are separate systems that happily coexist. Many restaurants run both: headsets to coordinate staff and pagers to notify waiting guests. Neither interferes with the other or with your Wi-Fi.
